Baby’s first dance competition! Around a year after my father was diagnosed Alzheimer’s, I randomly found myself in a conversation with a Stanford professor who told me social dancing (Tango, Swing, Salsa, etc) is the number one activity in the world to prevent and reverse Alzheimer’s disease. I told my husband Devin, and he immediately signed us up for Argentine Tango lessons in Long Beach. After two months of walking in circles, our Tango teacher suggested we were so bad at Tango we should take some West Coast Swing (Modern Swing) classes to help us be less terrible. LOL.
