Ideal Clients and Affordability
Why I don’t stress or chase after the people who “can’t afford” me.
9/10 times I don’t believe this anymore.
What I do believe is that they are not resourceful or motivated enough to be my ideal client.
And I’m totally not here harm anybody or try to squeeze something out of someone who is not resourceful or likely to succeed with our work.
What I’ve noticed over the years is that my clients separate themselves from NOT-my-clients by how they respond to the investment question.
The people who say “I can’t afford it” aren’t my clients. This is not a negative judgement on them.
The people who say “I have to make this happen, no matter what,” ARE my clients. They usually have less cash on hand than the NOT-my-client folk. And I’ve seen people in the worst circumstances make miracles happen.
And THAT’S why my clients rock their results: because that’s how they show up before the results shows up.
