Do you suspect you have a codependent relationship with money?

I’m answering a question that came in to me privately that I thought was such a great question and so useful that I would share my response publicly.  

The writer was concerned that asking, “What do I need to do now to make my Money Honey love me, or be happy and wanna stay with me?” was creating a co-dependent dynamic.

When I did a little digging, it became clear that they were getting too much external direction, without enough personalization or internal support, in some of their other programs.

That is typically a recipe for disaster. Both personally and financially.
