GOOD BYE LONG BEACH, HELLO LOS ANGELES! It is INSANE that we moved to a new house and painted, repaired and rented my Long Beach dream home in the weeks leading up to my retreat. Yes, we are more than our bodies and there is (in my opinion/personal experience) an eternal component to us that is pure consciousness and power, beyond harm, without limitation. But while we’re here and IN BODIES, the material world matters. That’s our job for this lifetime. Hunger and suffering matter. Nobody evolves without engaging in the challenges of being a wounded, flawed, vulnerable sentient being. Don’t look away. Learn from the pain. Do your best to solve problems in this world, in the time you have here. That is the highest spiritual calling.
