Today is the last day of the Chinese year of the Wood Snake. Snakes shed. The lesson of the last year was letting go. Letting go of loved ones who died, letting go of relationships that changed, letting go of things (so many things), letting go of beliefs and assumptions that are no longer helpful. After a decade of hearing from women who over-give and tithe themselves INTO poverty, my view may be different than she expected.
