I attended an annual holiday party last week with a bunch of coaching and author friends I’ve known for decades… I met someone new at this year’s party. She’s a TV writer, novelist, interior designer, amateur astrologer, former clinical psychoanalyst, and super cool human being. She was telling me about why she quit being a psychoanalyst: she found she was making her clients more dependent, not more empowered.
