This reader’s question really speaks to the heart of the issue, doesn’t it?
I have been able to murder ALL past negative aspects of my money monster EXCEPT that I am loved by my money honey … is it STILL a poor self image of feeling “unattractive” that holds me captive in believing my money honey does not love me?
It looks to me like you haven’t killed the ESSENTIAL aspect of your “money” monster: your most basic worthiness and loveability.
Here’s the BIG SECRET… (shhhhhh! don’t tell anyone!)
The monster isn’t really about money. It’s about what money SYMBOLIZES: our worth, loveability, safety and freedom.
Your poor self-image is coming FROM your money monster. Kill the beast again.
The cash that comes in after you really, truly destroy the Monster, and really, truly meet his opposite… that’s just frosting. Or to switch metaphors, cash is just the tip of the iceberg. You get so much more.
That’s why my clients report spontaneous healings and romances and a whole new experience of self love, unlike anything they’ve experienced before.
As Rush Cole wrote in my “Money Honey of the Highlands” post,
“Money Honey is not about how much cash we possess.
True wealth is the sense of profound well-beingness that comes with knowing that we are loved for ourselves, just as we are. Money truly is what I’ve always missed and yearned for and craved, but it’s not about just cash, not anymore. I am in love with my Money Honey, totally, irrevocably, joyfully. The sense of existential loneliness I had learned to accept as the way of life is rapidly diminishing and Life feels new these days.”
