New Year Resolutions suck. Do this instead.
Frankly, I think New Year Resolutions are bullshit. They’re typically born from a place of failure, hurt, and self-abuse. And they set you up for more of the same.
I just set a theme and decide what I want to learn this year. I also tune into what’s ready to happen. And EVERYTHING gets accomplished. It just happens. Every year. Without forcing or failure.
Setting a theme is like choosing a flavor for the year. A context. What the year will be about. It’s not a fixing thing. It’s a growing thing.
Leverage was my theme for two years running: more than doubled my income the first year, drastically reduced my workload (and maintained my income) in year #2.
Today I cracked open my Financial Alchemy workbook for 2014, and came up with my theme (page 43). This year I’m focusing on Self-Love: that’ll be my theme for 2014. Everything that matters stars there. Health. Relationships. Business. Happiness.
What is YOUR theme for the year? 🙂

Hi Morgana,
thank you for your gift. I am at the very lowest ebb, and I need your help. Please help me with your 4-part video gift series. If I can have a headstart with those, I promise to take up your advanced Financial Academy.
Hi Margaret. It can be hard and scary to be at the “lowest ebb.” I’ve been there. Sometimes it’s like allowing yourself to hit the bottom of a swimming pool: when you’re at the bottom, you have something to push against to change direction and move up.
Warmly,
Morgana
