It’s Persimageddon!
It’s “Persimageddon” again! My too-big persimmon tree is heavy with fruit. It’s an apocalypse of abundance.
I invited my whole neighborhood to come over to my house and harvest my tree. My only rule is “take all you want.” And then maybe a little more to share.
Dozens of families came and picked for 3 days this weekend… and I still have fruit left!!!
This is the BEST way to meet my neighbors, have fun, and make sure lots of good food doesn’t go to waste.
Also, there’s very little that will make you feel richer than giving stuff away.
My invitation to you: look around and see if you have anything in your life that no longer serves you, but could brighten the day of someone else. Start there. See how that makes you feel.
