Costa Rica Pura Vida–weddings, turtles, and sunsets in Nosara
Devin and I got married (for our 26th nuptial) last week in the upscale yoga/surfer town of Nosara in Costa Rica. Yes it was filmed… I have yet to get the recording from Devin’s camera.
Because Devin and I want to get married everywhere in the world, and we have a goal of getting married at least 100 times in 100 countries.
It’s been over 2 years since we exchanged vows in a new country. (Our last wedding was in Lisbon, September 2019).
I find travel gives me a fresh perspective on life, business, and the world. Leaving home and facing the excitement and challenges of an unfamiliar environment expands my energy.
I’m always scouting possible retreat locations…
A picture is worth a thousand words at least, so I love to post photos.
We stayed at the gorgeous Villas Nimbu eco-friendly airbnb in the middle of a nature preserve jungle, about a 10 minute walk from the ocean:
Tuesday morning is the organic farmer’s market:
My favorite guilty pleasure is tropical juices. So good!!!
Life revolves around the beaches, the surf, and the sunsets.
I was advised by a friend that Costa Rica is all about beaches and mountains… so we had our wedding dinner high up. (I forgot to photograph the main courses.)
Our Nosara hosts and new forever friends…
Nosara is all about the sunsets…
And turtles laying their eggs and returning to sea in the early mornings.
