New house pictures!!!

When I arrived home from Bali I discovered my husband had gone to heroic lengths–unpacking hundreds of boxes and organizing the downstairs–to make our new house into a home.

We’re still in the early stages–a ton of art needs to find a home on the walls, and furniture pieces are likely to be moved around or replaced–but the house is actually feeling like a nice place to live… a home.

And while Devin swore to me this new house was bigger than our old house, I really couldn’t see it until we brought in our things and I saw how small my area rugs suddenly looked in the new rooms. (And I can finally reclaim some beloved furniture pieces that used to be stored in our Long Beach garage, because there wasn’t room in the old house.)
