My dad was an attorney. My grandfather was a rocket scientist.
I’m a fourth generation Tarot reader with a college degree in Religion from Smith College.

I love it all–science, politics, spirituality. We’re all figuring out how to make life better through trial and error and experience.

Not surprisingly, my social media algorithms have picked up on these interests (and a bunch of cat and dance videos).

I’ve started seeing a LOT of Tarot videos for my astrological sun sign. (I’m a sea goat, baby! Half of me climbs mountains in the material world, while the other half lives in oceanic nonduality…)

And here’s where it gets weird (or weirder, depending on your perspective): every single “Capricorn” video in my feed last month featured someone pulling tarot cards, and EVERY TIME, the Ace of Coins was pulled.

Different people, different decks. Same card.

And then I went to a friend’s tarot party and I pulled my own cards.

Yup. Ace of Coins. Again.

And last night (even though we’re in a new month), when I was asking the cards a question, you guessed it: Ace of Coins popped up.

Maybe I’m supposed to take the hint?

I love the Ace of Pentacles/Coins card from the Ryder Waite tarot deck: a divine GIFT of new beginning, abundance, and success. But first you have to leave the blooming garden you’re in, because your mountain destination is waiting for you on the other side.

Here’s the message I’m taking:
LET GO!!!! Let go of what has lived its course in the material realm. In business, in body, in environment.
Something new and wonderful is beginning!

I’m a person of extreme sentimentality. I love to hold on to things forever. And yet I’m also very sensitive to energy shifts, and when I feel the tug, I act:

* I finally removed a 50 foot, mature King Palm tree from my backyard that was becoming a hazard. (I’d been putting this off for years.)

* I decided my first Money Goddess retreat in the United States (my 15th Money Goddess retreat) will also be my FINAL Money Goddess retreat.

* I’m purging older programs and systems in my business.

* I chopped off my long hair to a shoulder-length layered shag. This is a radical change for me, and I can’t believe how much I love the lightness!

I also don’t believe this energy is unique to me or Capricorns.

It’s still a Fire Horse year in the Chinese Calendar. Fire Horses like MOVEMENT. Stagnant energy becomes intolerable.

It’s time to complete old cycles and be ready for upgrades and new adventure!
