I have a little confession to make: for the first time since I can remember, I am entering the new year and a new trip around the sun WITHOUT A PLAN.
Whut? My inner goat (Capricorn) HATES this!!! But when I sat down and had a heart to heart conversation with my Money Honey (I usually do this by journaling), I was really honest about not feeling called to invent a new program or recycle an old program right now. All I know is I’m leading my Bali retreat in June, and that’s almost full. I love to coach, but I don’t feel called to launch a new group program. What do I do? My Money Honey’s response: “Trust and choose love. Inspiration will come. You do not need to force anything.”
And then the funniest thing happened… I went to a party to celebrate a friend’s birthday. My birthday friend mentioned my Money Goddess Bali retreat. Two women at the party want to do my retreat. Then I went to a NYE party, and another woman wants me to coach her privately. And then I received three more out-of-the-blue coaching and retreat applications.
I guess my business plan this month is not having a business plan. Weird. My theme for 2025 is Trust and Choose Love:
Love yourself.
Love what you do.
Love who you serve.
Follow the love.
INNER SHIFT AND OUTER STRATEGIES
Last night I caught a few minutes of a live social media video by one of my favorite teachers–Christopher Howard (he trained me in Neuro-Linguistic Programming 20 years ago)–and Chris was talking about how experts will tell you that wealth building is 80% mindset and 20% strategy, and then they teach you a bunch of strategies.
Learning strategies is important: strategies create vehicles to make it EASIER for money to come to you. In my experience, strategies are pretty interchangeable: they all work and they all don’t work depending on personal fit, timing, the market, and that invisible 80% that isn’t strategy.
In my case you can bump that number up to 99%.
There are times in life when our path is crystal clear, and strategies fall into place like a treasure map. There are also times in life when the path is invisible and our strategy is the next step in front of us.
I believe the Universe works on a need to know basis. When in doubt, follow love.
