“When your LOCAL competition is offering services for a lower price than you had planned, which is in line with the industry nationwide, do you go ahead and stick with your pricing rather than lowering it?”
1) You don’t want to be hired because you’re the cheapest. You want to be hired because you’re the BEST. Your clients will value you more and you’ll get better results.
2) People would rather pay more and GET RESULTS than waste their time and money on lesser quality.
3) Even if your business is local, your marketing is global. It’s a bigger market and it raises your credibility and possibilities. Play BIGGER!!!
4) You don’t need as many clients at a higher price point.
Always always always be looking at how you can provide BETTER RESULTS than your “competition,” and how you can communicate those benefits to your people. And have an exquisite relationship with a money that wants to be with you. Then you can charge what you want.
